We are a small but growing construction company with an working with housing associations, insurance companies and private surveying practices delivering high-quality construction and remediation works. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a part-time Business Development / Telesales professional to help expand our client base and introduce our services to new organisations. This role would suit someone with experience in the construction industry, such as a former estimator, surveyor, construction sales professional, or someone who understands construction terminology and clients. The role is flexible and initially around 8 hours per week, with the potential to increase hours as the company grows. ________________________________________ Role Responsibilities • Contact potential clients including: o Independent surveying practices o Insurance companies o Housing associations • Introduce our construction services and arrange meetings or enquiries • Identify new opportunities and potential projects • Research and build a database of potential clients • Follow up enquiries and maintain relationships with potential clients • Provide a simple weekly report of contacts made and opportunities identified • Work closely with the director to develop new business opportunities ________________________________________ Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will have: • Experience in the construction or property industry • Previous experience in sales, telesales, or business development
