I have a complete draft of my PhD literature review together with my supervisor’s notes and the original proposal. What I need now is an experienced academic editor to look past basic grammar and spelling and concentrate on reshaping the section so it reads as a compelling, well-argued survey of the field.
Scope of work • Focus exclusively on the literature review chapter. • Provide content-level and structural guidance: tighten thematic flow, reorganise paragraphs where necessary, and flag weak links between sources and my research questions. • Strengthen the depth of analysis and the clarity of my arguments without altering my voice. • Highlight opportunities to weave in additional or more current sources when you see obvious gaps.
Deliverables 1. Word document with Track Changes showing all structural moves, comments, and margin notes. 2. A brief (1-2 page) editorial report summarising what you changed, why, and any further actions I should take before submission.
Acceptance criteria The revised chapter should demonstrate a coherent narrative arc, clearly articulated critical positions, and smooth transitions between themes. My supervisory team must be able to follow the argument effortlessly and sign off on the proposal phase.
