Expected duration: 1 - 6 months Seeking someone with demonstrable experience to set up and manage a crowdfunding/fundraising campaign(s), including realistic outreach and acquisition strategies.
We’re raising ~£9k to complete a 20-minute short film; this is a standalone pulp-noir origin story which will also serve as a Proof of Concept film as part of the investment strategy for a feature we currently have in development.
We had our location booked and were scheduled to shoot 5-8th January 2026, but the cinema in which we were set to shoot (and its original 35mm projector - a key story element) fell through at the last minute due to engineering and staffing issues. Funds are now required to secure a new location, hire a 35mm projector, set-dress as needed, and cover associated relocation production costs. We have already invested a sum of money into this project, and so to have the location pull out and new costs incurred, we need to fundraise further investments.
Status: • Script locked • Cast & crew attached • Cameras and production kit in place • Insurances and PLI in place (will now need to be upscaled however, due to location changes and hire of equipment) • Production-ready
I have set up an Indiegogo campaign page, but this needs to be improved and promoted, and maybe expanded to a new platform(s). If the fixed fee is kept as low as possible, we can also agree an uncapped percentage of all funds raised. We’re open to fair, transparent, and mutually beneficial partnership discussions.
