I am looking for a skilled YouTube video editor to create a documentary-style, story-driven video based on my multi-day trip to the Arctic Circle, where I attempt to sell AI agents in a foreign market.
The final video will be approximately 30–60 minutes and should combine travel footage, hidden-microphone conversations with businesses, b-roll, and narration into a cohesive, engaging story.
The style should feel similar to channels like Colin & Samir, Yes Theory, or ItsKeaton.
This is not a simple cut-and-trim edit. I need someone who understands pacing, narrative structure, and viewer retention.
What You Will Be Editing You will receive: Multi-day vlog-style footage (travel, environment, day-to-day progress) Hidden mic audio clips from real conversations with businesses B-roll of the Arctic environment Talking-head breakdowns Screenshots or graphics where needed
Your job is to turn this into a compelling documentary with a clear narrative arc and strong pacing.
Responsibilities Structure the story with a clear beginning, middle, and payoff Edit footage into a polished 30–60 minute YouTube-ready video Enhance audio quality, including cleaning up hidden mic recordings
Add captions or subtitles where appropriate Integrate b-roll, transitions, and music Use simple, modern motion graphics or text where needed Perform color correction and overall visual enhancement Provide at least one full revision
Desired Editing Style Documentary or mini-film feel Smooth, retention-focused pacing Professional storytelling and narrative cohesion Clean titles and modern, unobtrusive graphics Strong sense of rhythm and emotional timing Experience with travel vlogs, documentary-style edits, or business content is a strong advantage. Budget $350–$600 depending on experience and portfolio quality.
