**Project Specification: Hybrid Meta Pixel & CAPI Implementation**
I need a complete hybrid Meta Pixel implementation combining browser-side tracking and server-side tracking via Meta's Conversions API (CAPI) for my custom-built website. My site is not built on WordPress or any standard platform; it is a fully custom website: www.zentropay.co.uk. The goal is an airtight data pipeline that feeds reliable conversion data back to Meta to optimize ad campaigns and reduce CPC. A previous attempt failed due to poor event synchronization.
**Core Objective & Required Events**
My website's primary goals are consultation form submissions and user sign-ups for the platform.The required Meta Pixel standard events are Lead (for form submissions) and CompleteRegistration (for user sign-ups). Also include ViewContent on key service pages and PageView as a baseline. All events must be sent via both browser and server-side CAPI for deduplication.
**Mandatory Requirements & Forbidden Shortcuts**
· Do not implement a client-side or server-side only solution.
· The server must generate the event_id for deduplication, not the browser.
· User consent must be respected by both tracking methods.
· You must set up a proper Meta System User, not use temporary tokens.
· Do not deploy without validation in Meta's Event Debugger and Events Manager.
· Use the server-sequential method: browser sends to our endpoint first, receives server event_id, then fires the Pixel event.
**Scope of Work: Implementation Deliverables**
1. Create and configure a Meta System User with correct Ad Account and Pixel permissions. Securely store the permanent access token.
2. Develop a secure server endpoint (e.g., /api/meta-event). It must validate incoming event data, generate a UUID event_id, hash user data per Meta's specs, check a consent flag, conditionally send data to CAPI, and return the event_id.
3. Update the browser Pixel code to capture event data and consent, send it to the server endpoint, receive the server's event_id back, and fire the Pixel event using that same ID for perfect deduplication.
**Mandatory Pre-Payment Verification Process - Step by Step**
Due to past issues,final payment requires a live screenshare where you demonstrate every function. You will need to share your screen and walk me through this exact sequence:
**PHASE 1: SYSTEM USER VERIFICATION**
· Open Meta Business Suite and navigate to Business Settings > Users > System Users.
· Click into the System User you created for this project.
· Show me the Assets tab and confirm it is assigned to my specific Ad Account [Your Account ID] and Pixel [Your Pixel ID].
**PHASE 2: LIVE EVENT TESTING ON MY SITE**
· Go to www.zentropay.co.uk in a fresh browser window.
· Install and open the Meta Pixel Helper Chrome extension so it's visible.
· Complete a new consultation form submission using test data (e.g., test@test.com).
· Complete a new user sign-up using test data.
· For each action (form submit and sign-up), pause and show me in the Pixel Helper: a) That the event (Lead or CompleteRegistration) appears TWICE in the list.
b) Click the first instance - show it says "Browser" as the source.
c) Click the second instance - show it says "Server" or "CAPI" as the source.
d) For BOTH instances, click to expand details and point to the "event_id" parameter. They must be IDENTICAL numbers.
**PHASE 3: META EVENTS MANAGER VALIDATION**
· Open Meta Events Manager in another tab.
· Navigate to Test Events for my pixel.
· Show me the live event stream. Our test form submit and sign-up should appear within seconds.
· For each test event, point to the "Deduplication Status" column. It must say "Matched."
**PHASE 4: CONSENT COMPLIANCE TEST**
· On my website, use the cookie consent banner to explicitly deny/revoke consent.
· Trigger another page view or form interaction.
· Show me in the Pixel Helper that NO corresponding event with hashed user data (like email) is sent to Meta.
If any part of this verification fails or cannot be demonstrated, the work is incomplete and no final payment will be released.
**Final Deliverables**
Upon successful verification,provide basic documentation covering the endpoint structure, event schema, and instructions for future maintenance. Only submit a proposal if you are fully confident in delivering this exact setup and passing the live verification.
