We’re looking for a skilled freelancer to create high-quality visual assets for our client case studies. This includes short video animations and polished mock-ups for use on our website, social media, and future marketing activity.
This is ad hoc work, starting with a pre-Christmas batch. If it’s a good fit, there’s potential for ongoing collaboration.
What you’ll be doing 1. Creating high-quality video animations showcasing our client work 2. Designing polished mock-ups that bring brand applications to life 3. Building mock-ups as layered PSDs and supplying final JPEG outputs 4. Preparing assets for web and for social formats (resizes, crops, and simple variants) 5. Working from original client files (InDesign, Illustrator) plus visual references for style and direction 6. Flagging when additional mock-up templates may need to be purchased (or creating your own where possible) 7. Ensuring all assets—templates, mock-ups, imagery, and animations—have the correct commercial licenses 8. Producing original work based on references (no direct copying) 9. Delivering both original working files (PSD, After Effects, etc.) and exported finals
What we’re looking for 1. Strong portfolio showing both motion design (short animations, UI animations, brand reveals, or similar) and mock-up creation 2. Experience creating polished, realistic mock-ups 3. Excellent understanding of file structure, naming, and versioning 4. Awareness of accessibility in motion and digital design 5. Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and hit agreed deadlines
What we’ll provide 1. Original client files (brand assets, artwork, imagery) 2. Visual references for style and execution 3. A clear brief for each case study 6. A small test project with 1–2 case studies to begin
What we’ll need from you 1. Portfolio showcasing relevant motion and mock-up work 2. Your day rate or itemised cost structure 3. Typical turnaround times 4. Your availability between now and Christmas 5. Confirmation that all assets you create will be commercially licensed and original 6. Your preferred software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Photoshop)
