Before any code is written, I’d like to see layered mockups in Adobe XD so I can sign off on layout, typography and spacing. Once the design is approved, hand-code the page in clean, standards-compliant HTML5 and modular CSS. Flexbox or CSS Grid should drive the layout, and the code must be well commented so future pages slot in easily. I’m after fast load times on both mobile and desktop, so please optimize any assets you include.
A clear visual hierarchy is essential: distinct sections for food categories, prices and a chef’s highlights area. Subtle scroll-based animations and an elegant loading animation will give the page a touch of life without overpowering the minimalist feel.
