Expected duration: Ongoing I’m looking for an experienced Shopify SEO specialist who understands both on-page and technical optimisation within Shopify’s architecture. The right person will have hands-on experience improving site speed, structure, and organic visibility specifically on Shopify stores - not just general SEO knowledge.
You should be comfortable working directly in Shopify themes, using Shopify’s built-in SEO tools and third-party apps, and communicating clearly about what’s being done and why.
Price is only an indicator and looking for an ongoing relationship with someone who delivers results consistently.
Key responsibilities: + Audit current Shopify site performance (speed, SEO structure, and content setup) + Implement SEO best practices within Shopify’s framework (metadata, schema, URL structure, etc.) + Optimise for site speed (theme performance, image optimisation, app usage, code clean-up) + Recommend and implement improvements that align with Shopify’s limitations and opportunities + Provide clear updates, results, and explanations of actions taken
Requirements: + Proven track record working with Shopify stores + Solid understanding of Liquid, theme files, and Shopify’s technical constraints + Demonstrable experience improving site performance and SEO results + Excellent communication and documentation skills + Must speak good English
