Request for WooCommerce Website Developer – UK Designers Only
We are a UK-based food transportation company looking to build a WooCommerce-based e-commerce website to manage and sell approximately 750 chilled and ambient food products.
Project Overview:
We are seeking an experienced UK-based web designer/developer with a proven track record in building robust WooCommerce websites. The site will be integrated with a third-party storage provider and must include full e-commerce functionality, inventory tracking, and mobile compatibility.
Key Requirements:
UK-based applicants only.
Design and develop a full-featured WooCommerce website to host 750+ food products (chilled and ambient).
Full integration with our external storage/stock provider – their system must securely integrate with our website.
Developer must be willing to sign a security disclaimer/NDA ensuring best practices are followed to protect all third-party systems.
Implement real-time stock level updates via API or compatible integration with our stock provider’s system.
Include logic to flag products nearing sell-by dates, allowing us to run automated price promotions or alerts.
The website must be mobile-optimized and support future development of a dedicated mobile app.
Provide training to company staff on how to:
Manage and update products.
Process orders.
Run promotions based on expiry.
Use and maintain the WooCommerce backend.

Preference given to developers with experience in food logistics, inventory automation, and mobile-ready e-commerce.
