I run a young travel brand that thrives on genuine stories and helpful advice. To keep up with the growing community, I need a proactive virtual assistant who can both write and promote. Your typical week will be split between crafting content and lighting up conversations on the platforms travelers already trust: Reddit, Quora, TripAdvisor, and Thorn Tree, apart from commenting on our social media videos and replying to use comments and keep the engagement going.
What You’ll Do
Write and post authentic, high-quality responses on travel forums such as Reddit, Quora, TripAdvisor, Thorn Tree, and other niche travel communities, including those on Facebook.
Engage thoughtfully on YouTube — posting comments, responding to comments, community updates, and responses that foster organic discussion and improve engagement rations.
Research travel topics, destinations, and emerging trends to identify relevant opportunities for engagement and content creation.
Write travel articles and blog posts aligned with brand tone, storytelling style, and SEO best practices.
Promote travel social media channels (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, facebook etc.) through subtle, non-spammy engagement and value-driven content.
Track and report weekly outcomes — including posts made, visibility generated, and engagement insights.
Adapt posting times to align with peak North American and European engagement hours, where necessary.
What I’m Looking For
Exceptional, Human-First English writing skills — fluent, creative, and naturally conversational, with proven ability to adopt and maintain a consistent brand voice.
100% human-written content — all writing must be original, authentic, and pass modern AI detection standards. Authenticity is paramount.
Strong research and analytical ability to produce accurate, relevant, and travel-aware responses.
Experience in travel writing (blogs, articles, or community storytelling).
Deep understanding of travel culture and online communities (solo travel, luxury, adventure, etc.).
Proven familiarity with Reddit, Quora, TripAdvisor, and YouTube community engagement.
Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision, sense opportunities, and meet weekly deliverables.
Proactive and organized, with strong communication and accountability.
Offer & Next Steps
This is a long-term retainer position with weekly payments.
Expectation: minimum commitment of 15 hours per week.
