Expected duration: Not sure We’re looking for a skilled WordPress Developer familiar with Spectra Theme (Brainstorm Force) and block-based design.
Our new site is already configured and structured, but I needs someone to help implement styling, layouts, Blocks and possibly create a few Patterns, using Spectra’s recommended blocks to optimise easy updating. I will always need to write textual content, so you don't need to do that. Ensure easy updating throughout the website, using were possible, but not always exclusively the Spectra Blocks.
You’ll be working collaboratively with me. I understand the basics and will be active in the process. I have direct support from Brainstorm Force, so where guidance is needed, I’ll share their responses if you want to give me clear support questions, worded as you wish. Your role will be to implement the blocks for me to use efficiently and give me the stylings I want. I will pick up some stuff from what you do, and where I'm comfortable, copy them under other menus.
We’ll communicate verbally using WhatsApp (to keep calls low-cost and secure, where it may be difficult communicate in writing), and I’d expect responses within 24–48 hours when questions arise. Access can be made to the Files as and when required, as we run our own Server.
Access & Setup: For security reasons you’ll receive temporary WordPress admin access first through a secure plugin we use, where no new account setup required is required and we control access.
Budget: We have a good working budget and will agree a budget once we know your hourly rate after you have a chance of reviewing our development site, which has already been designed and also when we review your portfolio and examples of Spectra or block-based sites you’ve built or worked on. The total project cost will be finalised once you’re selected. Additional budget may be added later for follow-on work if mutually agreed and money will flow through the PPH site.
What we’re looking for:
Proven experience with WordPress Block Themes (Spectra preferred) Ability to and if required create clean, reusable patterns or edit existing ones. A couple of examples of what you can achieve in this type of work, within 1 hour. We can supply Images that we've got, but willing to look at others if you wish to suggest them.
Reliable communication in English and reasonably quick turnarounds. The project completion will be when we're comfortable with what we need to complete the site. There may be potential for further support at an hourly rate, if we have budget left.
