We are looking for a Shopify development company (or individuals with exceptional Shopify and UX skills). The candidate must possess proven experience in custom Shopify development to deliver following new features along with some customizations in an existing online Jewelry store.
The project includes a few new features, UX enhancements, and some backend improvements.
Scope of Work:
1. Navigation & Menu Layout - Implement a new, simplified mega menu with the related pages (Jewellery, Wedding & Engagement, Services, Gallery, Gifts, Jewellery Education, Contact Us). Text and images will be provided. - Sub-collections: each menu item would have it's related sub-collections (tbd). - Editable templates for Sales & Offers where our team can easily manage promotions, prices, and images. - The promotions need to be displayed on key areas as well as at corner for stickineed.
2. Product Filtering & Attributes - Implement advanced filtering (material, gemstone, occasion, price, etc.). - Add support for shape filters in product pages with (Round, Oval, Princess, etc.) either through tags/metafields or whatever is standard way. - Ensure the system is easy for our team to manage going forward.
3. Gift Cards - A new gift cards section would be introduced to filter out the gifts (like: For him, For her etc) - Need a gift cards management tool where user can create and send their personalized/themed gift cards as well as check balance.
4. Custom Ring Builder Tool: - Need a custom ring builder tool.
5. Search Functionality: - Advanced keyword search across products, collections, and content. - Simple image-based search (visual search - No Ai required).
6. Product Displays - Improved product images display on product detail with multiple photos and video player. - Must have option to select colors, size and material while adding to cart. - Optional: 360 degree view.
7. Chatbot & Support FAQ chatbot integrated with live chat. Must support business hours (offline message outside office hours).
8. Backup & Rollback Set up automated backups (e.g., Rewind Backups) to ensure we can restore to previous state if issues arise.
Notes: - We are open to proposals for standard and cost-effective solutions. - Proven track record in custom Shopify apps and theme development. - Candidate must provide references and portfolio links for similar projects. - Provide a proposed timeline with deliverables. - At the end of your application, please answer this question: What is your recommended Shopify app for product filtering and why? - Applications without this answer will be ignored. - For transparency we would like to pay for deliverables/milestones.
