Expected duration: 3 - 4 weeks Small project: seeking experienced developer to build a proof-of-concept tool that connects CSV data to Opera Cloud APIs (using Postman mock server first, prior to sandbox testing).
Brief: We are looking for a developer with Opera Cloud / OHIP API integration experience to build a minimum viable product (MVP).
The tool will demonstrate a simple workflow: reading from a CSV file and updating records via Opera Cloud APIs. Since live hotel sandbox access is not yet available, the initial phase will use a Postman mock server (or equivalent) to simulate Opera Cloud responses.
The goal is to have a working proof-of-concept that can be connected to a real Opera Cloud sandbox later.
Deliverables: 1. MVP tool that: - Reads data from a CSV file. - Sends updates to Opera Cloud APIs (mocked via Postman or equivalent). - Logs results (success, errors, retries). 2. Working demonstration of the end-to-end workflow. 3. Documentation for setup, usage, and steps to connect to a real Opera Cloud sandbox.
A first milestone example would be to deliver a Postman mock demo within one week.
Requirements 1. Proven experience with Opera Cloud / OHIP APIs. 2. Strong background in API integrations and OAuth2 authentication. 3. Familiarity with mocking tools (e.g., Postman) for API testing. 4. Clear communication and ability to share progress in demos.
Nice to Have - Previous work on hospitality or PMS integrations. - Ability to design a basic front-end or dashboard for CSV upload. - Knowledge of SaaS deployment best practices
