Expected duration: 3 - 4 weeks We have a WordPress front-end already built and working. The user flow is fine, but the visual design currently feels 5/10. We want to lift this to at least 9/10 standard with a clean, professional, modern aesthetic.
This is not a basic “theme tweak” job. We are looking for a high-level designer who can deliver polished, brand-aligned, and visually outstanding results.
Scope of Work
Redesign 8 key pages (homepage + 7 core pages of the platform).
Create a consistent, professional style aligned with GOV.UK design principles (clarity, accessibility, simplicity).
Apply strong typography, balanced spacing, and modern UI components (buttons, forms, menus, modals).
Ensure excellent mobile + tablet responsiveness.
Integrate our branding and logo throughout.
Deliver a style guide (colours, fonts, button/element styles) for future consistency.
Deliverables
High-quality mockups (Figma/Sketch/Adobe XD) for approval before build.
Implementation of the approved design in our existing WordPress front-end (no backend changes required).
4-6 revision rounds to ensure we reach “amazing” standard.
Requirements
Proven track record of outstanding UI design for WordPress platforms.
Portfolio that demonstrates attention to detail, modern UI, and accessibility compliance.
Ability to go beyond templates and create a custom, distinctive design.
