Hi, we are a friendly team within the commercial property space in London and are looking for a freelance bookkeeper to work 1 day a week on a long term ongoing project.
Role will include the following: - Reconciliation of all current clients (circa 40) to ensure we have accurate accounts and that we can allocate all incoming funds to outgoing invoices accurately. Any deficits or overcharges to be amended so that each client account is up to date moving forward - Review our current process of individual profit and loss accounts for each client to advise on a better way of doing it. Currently it is very manual, reliant on a basic excel doc, manually reviewing each invoice and accounting for outgoings. Currently it is time consuming and open to manual error
Ongoing tasks will likely include:
- Making approved payments (around 400 a month) - Accurately accounting and allocating each payment to ensure we are charging the right amount to the tenant - Adjusting the next month’s statement to include any ad-hoc costs or ongoing price changes - Keep track of what clients have and have not paid are we going to be able to pass it over to them? - Monthly and annually review each client account to see how we are tracking comparing expected earnings to actual - Setting up new client profit and losses
