We are seeking an experienced Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) contractor based in the UK to support our consultancy’s online presence. This is a performance-based project with a clear, results-driven outcome.
The Role
You will be responsible for optimising a designated set of web pages so that they achieve an organic ranking of at least page 2 on Google for agreed target keywords. Success will be measured by visible improvement in rankings, with payment made once the target has been met.
You’ll work closely with me (the business owner) and our web designer to ensure your SEO strategy aligns with our brand, industry, and commercial goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research to identify and prioritise high-value search terms
- Optimise on-page elements (titles, headings, meta descriptions, copy, internal links)
- Provide clear direction to our web designer on technical SEO requirements (site speed, mobile optimisation, schema, etc.)
- Implement off-page SEO strategies where appropriate (backlinks, citations)
- Track performance and provide transparent updates on progress
Requirements
- UK-based (essential)
- Proven track record of moving websites up Google rankings
- Strong understanding of both on-page and technical SEO
- Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively with non-SEO professionals
- Reliable and able to work to agreed milestones
Payment
Fixed fee of £350.00
Payable only once the designated pages are organically ranking on at least page 2 of Google for agreed keywords
