Title: Fix and Set Up Accurate Conversion Tracking for Squarespace + Acuity Scheduling (GA4 & Google Ads)
Description: I have a Squarespace website with Acuity Scheduling embedded for appointment bookings. A friend has already added my Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Ads tracking codes using the Google Tag system (gtag.js) - not Google Tag Manager - and data is flowing into GA4.
However, my current setup is counting the wrong actions as conversions (it’s counting visits instead of completed bookings). I need someone who can:
Check my current GA4 + Google Ads tag configuration.
Identify why conversions are firing incorrectly and fix it so only completed bookings are counted (likely by tracking a confirmation page or success event from Acuity Scheduling).
Ensure GA4 and Google Ads are tracking the same conversions for accurate Google Ads reporting.
Set things up so I can easily check it myself - for example:
If I make a test booking, I want to clearly see that event show in GA4 Realtime.
The conversion name in GA4 should be easy to recognise (e.g., “Booking Complete”).
I should be able to verify this without using technical tools like Tag Assistant.
Provide clear written instructions (or a short video) on how to check that tracking is working in the future.
Requirements:
Experience with GA4, Google Ads conversion tracking, and Squarespace (Acuity Scheduling integration).
Comfortable working without Google Tag Manager (direct Google Tag setup).
Ability to make the verification process simple for a non-technical user.

I will provide temporary Editor access to GA4 and Standard access to Google Ads.
Full account login will not be shared.
Access will be removed when the project is complete.
