This project focuses on redesigning and rebuilding the website for East Ham Podiatry to create a clean, modern, and accessible online presence. The new site will be developed using WordPress and follow best practices for performance, SEO, and accessibility.
Key design objectives include refreshing the existing branding colors and logo to impart a polished, clinical look and feel. Inspiration has been drawn from other podiatry websites showcasing clean layouts, organized content hierarchies, and easy navigation focused on key services. Professional stock imagery will be incorporated.
Content will be organized across 11 key pages accessible from the top navigation bar. A main "Treatments" tab utilizing dropdowns will house subfolders for chiropody, podiatry, reflexology, and a new physiotherapy section. Additional services like home visits will be clearly outlined. Client testimonials and educational resources such as FAQs and PDF leaflets will also feature.
Central to the user experience will be an accessible booking form and contact details prominently placed. Navigation will minimize tabs on mobile via a hamburger menu and retain a clean two-tone design across desktop and tablet views. Brief, digestible copy and clickable image tiles will help users easily locate relevant information.
Accessibility is a top priority, with the site developed adhering to WCAG AA guidelines
