We are seeking a person based in the US to keep some laptops and share remote access for software engineers who are employed by US companies but are going to travel abroad.
Responsibilities: - Receive and set up several laptops. - Configure the laptops according to specific requirements and ensure they are connected to the Internet. - Turn on and maintain daily remote access capabilities to facilitate ongoing software development work by the engineers. - Perform minor daily tasks that cannot be completed remotely, such as software updates, basic troubleshooting, and system checks. - Ensure the laptops are in good condition and report any technical issues or damages promptly. - Communicate regularly with the engineers to coordinate schedules and address any technical needs or concerns.
Qualifications: - US-based resident. - Proficiency with basic laptop setup/configuration. - Responsible, trustworthy, and able to manage multiple devices efficiently. - Good communication skills. - Experience with IT support or technical assistance is a plus, but not required.
