I manage a restaurant in the UK and have been developing a concept for a compact machine that automates the cleaning of laminated or wipeable menus, designed to improve hygiene standards, save time, and reduce waste in busy service environments.
Following recent market research, I’m looking to go deeper by speaking directly with professionals in the hospitality industry — specifically Operations Managers, Area Managers, or upper-level decision-makers within multi-site restaurant groups (ideally 2–50 sites).
This project is not about selling the idea. It’s about understanding whether this is a real operational pain point, what resistance exists, and whether the solution resonates in the context of modern hospitality challenges (labour shortages, time pressure, hygiene expectations, etc.).
What I’m Looking For: Someone with experience conducting structured interviews or insight conversations Ability to identify and reach out to UK-based hospitality Ops Managers or GMs Conduct 5–7 high-quality conversations (or as many as the budget allows) Provide a summary of feedback, key objections, quotes, and themes Focus on real-world use cases, adoption hurdles, and perceived value
Deliverables: Interview summaries or transcripts (anonymised is fine) Strategic insight report (short but clear) Key quotes and “language operators actually use” Suggested messaging or positioning notes if patterns emerge
Ideal Candidate: Hospitality background or experience speaking to Ops/GM-level managers Strong communication/interviewing skills UK-based preferred, or with UK market understanding Able to start quickly
