We are seeking a US Tax Preparation Expert to provide in-depth review and structured feedback on our AI-powered tax preparation tool. This is a hands-on role requiring deep expertise in US tax laws and practical experience with tax filings, especially for small to mid-sized CPA firms.
Responsibilities Manually review and validate the tool’s accuracy across key areas:
Income tax compliance
Deductions and credits accuracy
Filing status and dependents determination
Identify compliance gaps, errors, and optimization opportunities
Share feedback on usability and tax logic issues from a practitioner's perspective
Contribute real-world tax scenarios to support model training and testing
Collaborate with our product and engineering team to refine workflows and outputs
Ideal Skills & Experience Strong command of US federal and state tax laws
Deep familiarity with:
Individual income tax filings
Tax deductions and credits
Filing status rules and dependent eligibility
Experience working with or advising CPA firms (preferred)
Detail-oriented with the ability to spot compliance and accuracy issues
Comfortable providing structured feedback and documentation
