Role Summary: Business Analyst – Billing System Transformation (Remote, 10 hrs/week) We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Business Analyst to support the transformation of our billing system. This remote, part-time role (10 hours per week) is critical in ensuring the existing billing logic is thoroughly understood, well-documented, and effectively translated into requirements for a new system. You will act as the key liaison between Finance, IT, and external vendors, contributing strategic insights within a limited but focused weekly time frame.
Key Responsibilities 1. Analyse & Document Current Billing Logic Review and interpret existing billing processes and charging structures.
Collaborate with Finance and IT to map end-to-end billing workflows.
Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and areas of risk in the current system.
2. Elicit and Define Requirements Facilitate focused discussions and mini-workshops with Finance and stakeholders to define requirements for the new billing model.
Document business and functional requirements in a clear, concise format suitable for system implementation.
Prioritize tasks and deliverables to align with the 10-hour/week schedule.
Remote Working Expectations Fully remote role with flexible hours, coordinated with key stakeholder availability.
Must be self-driven, organized, and able to deliver outcomes independently with minimal supervision.
Proficiency in tools such as Zoom, Teams, Confluence, and Excel is essential.
