We are seeking a Sales & Business Development Associate with expertise in pharmaceutical exports to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities in Africa, the Caribbean, and the MENA region, while building and maintaining strong client relationships. You should have a proven track record in sales, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the pharma market dynamics. Responsibilities:
Research and identify procurement leads and buyers (gov agencies, NGOs, hospitals, health ministries)
Conduct outreach via email, Link edIn, and phone to pitch our offerings
Book meetings and manage follow-ups
Maintain CRM with leads, contact details, and deal stages
Assist in preparing basic proposals or quote templates
Build relationships with potential clients and partners
Work with the founder on refining the sales process and funnel
Requirements:
Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally in pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, health tech, or exports
Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal
Confident in reaching out to high-level buyers (procurement officers, hospital directors, gov reps)
Self-starter with a results-driven mindset
Comfortable using CRMs, Goo gle Workspace, Linke dIn Sales Navigator, and Upw ork/Wha tsApp for comms
Strong organisational skills — able to follow up and close
Bonus (but not required):
Experience working with African, Caribbean, or MENA markets
Familiarity with export documentation or INCOTERMS
