We are seeking an experienced Reddit moderator and community manager to help build and maintain our crypto-focused subreddit, which supports our external news platform. The goal is to establish a well-managed, high-quality community centered around cryptocurrency discussions, news, and updates.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and manage AutoModerator using YAML based on our defined rules and automation guidelines
Moderate posts and comments, remove spam, self-promotion, and off-topic content
Manage daily post scheduling, including news updates, discussions, polls, and AMAs
Create and maintain a subreddit wiki for rules, FAQs, and project context
Crosspost relevant content to high-traffic crypto subreddits for visibility
Actively work to increase active membership and participation
Engage or attract high-karma Reddit users to contribute or collaborate
Collaborate with our editorial team to align subreddit content with our website (coinedition.com)
What We're Looking For:
Prior experience moderating active subreddits (please share links)
Familiarity with Reddit tools, automoderator YAML configuration, and moderation best practices
Understanding of crypto communities and trends
Strong communication and ability to work independently
Preference will be given to those with a track record of growing subreddit engagement and managing quality communities. Please include examples of subreddits you've worked on.
