We’re Break Odds, a music tech company helping independent UK artists with their single releases. I’m looking for someone with solid customer service experience to manage our Instagram DMs and customer service inbox. This role is about more than replying — it’s about keeping artists informed, supported, and reassured through their journey with us.
What you’ll do: Respond to incoming DMs and emails from music artists - Send welcome packs to new sign-ups + guide them through the onboarding steps - Keep clients updated on what stage they're at and what’s happening next - Handle FAQs confidently (we’ll provide everything you need) - Flag anything urgent to me directly
What I’m looking for: - Excellent written communication – clear, friendly, and confident - Proven customer support experience (2+ years preferred) - Organised, reliable, and proactive in keeping clients informed - Ideally some understanding of the music industry (especially independent artists)
Available to check messages daily (or regularly)
There won’t be too many enquiries at first, but as we grow, your hours and pay will too. If you're good at making people feel looked after and have experience in support roles, this could grow into a long-term position.
