I’m looking for a UK-based (or UK-market focused) freelance SEO expert to review and improve the performance of my Shopify-built ecommerce site, which sells leather accessories under the Saddler Accessories brand.
This is a retail website targeting UK consumers, and I need a specialist who understands both technical Shopify SEO and on-page retail optimisation. The site has been live for some time but is not ranking well or attracting meaningful organic traffic.
Key Tasks:
Full SEO audit of my Shopify site (technical + on-page)
Identify and fix crawl/indexing issues (structured data, sitemap, speed, etc.)
Improve collection and product page SEO (metadata, H1s, keyword structure, content)
Carry out UK keyword research based on my product ranges
Optimise for mobile usability and site speed
Advise on content or blog opportunities if relevant
Submit or clean up issues in Google Search Console
Optional: audit backlinks or competitor SEO
Requirements:
Proven Shopify SEO experience (please provide 2-3 examples)
Familiarity with UK retail/ecommerce SEO landscape
Experience with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Shopify Meta fields
Ability to explain findings clearly and propose practical fixes
Fluent English, professional and prompt communication
Nice to Have:
Experience with fashion/accessory brands
Ability to implement some fixes directly in Shopify (not essential)
