Expected duration: 3 - 4 weeks We’re looking for a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager to support with recruitment and onboarding of UK-based personal trainers to our online Fitness999 platform.
Your Mission • Promote our free sign-up offer and £10 welcome incentive for trainers who join • Identify and onboard 50 qualified PTs who meet our requirements within 30 days. o Level 3 Personal Trainer Certification (or equivalent) o Public Liability Insurance o Proof of Identity (ID)
• Use creative outreach methods to attract trainers, including: o Posting and engaging in Facebook groups for UK personal trainers and fitness coaches o Connecting with PTs on Reddit (e.g. r/UKFitness, r/personaltraining) - Reaching out through Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn o Developing partnerships or local outreach efforts with fitness academies, communities, and independent studios o Contacting recent graduates and alumni from leading fitness training providers like Premier Global NASM, Future Fit Training, HFE, and The Training Room o Approaching trainers working independently from gyms such as PureGym, The Gym Group, and Anytime Fitness o Using platforms and directories like CIMSPA, NRPT, and job boards such as Leisurejobs, GymCareer, Indeed, and TotalJobs
• Guide new trainers through the onboarding process and ensure they are fully activated on the platform
What We’re Looking For:
• Strong background in business development, outreach, or sales (ideally in fitness or tech) • Understanding of the UK fitness industry and freelance PT market
