I require an experienced freelancer to optimize the performance of my web application and ensure high availability. The single page application was created using React and uses Firebase as its backend service for user authentication, database and hosting. It is currently experiencing intermittent errors that cause the site to briefly go offline.
The chosen freelancer will be required to inspect the application code and identify any issues preventing stable performance or causing errors. This may involve debugging any frontend or backend code as needed. Optimization of database queries, indexing and application routing should be performed to enhance load times and responsiveness. Thorough testing is required across all device form factors and browsers.
Once errors are resolved, the site deployment procedures on Firebase hosting will need evaluating to ensure automatic redeploys and caching are configured appropriately. Ongoing monitoring and server logs checking may be needed to prevent recurrence of issues. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of modern web development technologies including React, Node.js, Firebase and devops best practices. Proactive communication and thorough documentation of all work will be expected.
Interested freelancers should have a minimum of 2 years experience optimizing similar full stack applications. The work is expected to be completed within 14 days depending on the scope of issues found. Payment will be made in full upon the application meeting all performance and stability requirements.
