We're looking for a right-hand to our host from start to finish in the production of this new business-focused podcast (audio and video).
Description ---
Content Development:
- Collaborate with hosts, writers, and other team members to develop engaging and original podcast content.
- Research topics, identify potential guests, and assist in scriptwriting and episode planning.
Production Management:
- Schedule and coordinate recording sessions, ensuring all participants are prepared and briefed.
- Oversee the recording process, either remotely or on-site, ensuring high-quality audio and video capture.
Audio and Video Editing:
- Work with the audio and video editor to add music, sound effects, graphics, and other elements to enhance the listener and viewer experience.
Quality Control:
- Review and approve final podcast episodes, ensuring they meet our quality standards.
- Ensure all episodes are properly formatted and ready for distribution.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during recording or editing.
Promotion and Distribution:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and strategies for each episode.
- Assist in distributing episodes across various podcast platforms and tracking performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a podcast producer or similar role.
- Proficiency in audio and video editing software (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
- Strong understanding of podcast production processes, including recording, editing, and distribution.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and content creation.
- Familiarity with podcast hosting platforms and RSS feeds is a plus.
- Knowledge of SEO and social media marketing is a plus.
Hourly Range: $20.00-$35.00
