We’re looking for a freelance mobile app designer who specializes in crafting elegant, intuitive interfaces using Tamagui for React Native. This role is for a faith-based meditation app that integrates Scripture, guided meditations, and an AI-powered chat. The visual tone is calm, minimal, and spiritually inviting—think soft pastels, clean typography, and a welcoming layout that encourages emotional clarity and spiritual depth. You’ll be responsible for designing screens across five core areas: AI chat, meditation library, structured meditation journeys, Bible reader, and user profile. Experience designing within the Tamagui design system is essential, as we’re building directly on top of Tamagui Takeout. You’ll collaborate closely with our product and engineering team to bring to life components that are not only beautiful but also highly performant across iOS and Android. Ideal candidates have experience with mobile wellness or spirituality apps and can create Figma designs that translate cleanly to Tamagui’s props and styled component architecture. Bonus if you understand UX principles for meditation flows, calming micro-interactions, and accessible layouts. Please include a portfolio showcasing relevant mobile work, ideally using Tamagui or styled-components, along with your availability and estimated rates.
