We are seeking an experienced bookkeeping professional to optimize our QuickBooks payroll processes and setup. Our small business has been using QuickBooks for invoicing and basic bookkeeping tasks for the past two years. However, we have not fully utilized all of QuickBooks' payroll features and currently have some inefficient workflows when it comes to processing payroll.
We are looking to streamline our payroll procedures to save time and minimize errors. This includes reviewing and improving our existing QuickBooks payroll item and wage setup, examining payroll tax accounts and liabilities, and automating payroll runs. The selected freelancer will need experience with QuickBooks payroll features like direct deposit setup, payroll itemization, tax payments, and reporting.
The goals of this project are to ensure our payroll data and tax liabilities are accurately recorded in QuickBooks, payroll processing requires minimal manual data entry, and we are maximizing available payroll features like direct deposit and tax form generation. The freelancer will conduct an audit of our current QuickBooks payroll configuration and workflows, provide recommendations for optimization, and implement the agreed upon changes.
Project deliverables include documenting optimized QuickBooks payroll item, account, and wage setup; setting up direct deposit and tax payment accounts; creating automatic payroll processing workflows; and training our staff on using the new processes.
