Project Requirement: Freelance Website Designer for Modern, Responsive UI We are looking for a freelance web designer with a strong portfolio in modern website design to take full ownership of the frontend design for our web application. The backend has been built using Django, and currently uses basic HTML placeholder pages. We now need a designer to create a visually appealing, user-friendly, and mobile-responsive interface that aligns with modern UI/UX best practices.
Key Responsibilities: Work independently to design and deliver high-quality frontend in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Must be proficient with Bootstrap and capable of handling CSS-related issues efficiently.
Expected to design screens in Figma (or similar tools) with good visual aesthetics and UX focus.
Convert approved designs into production-ready HTML/CSS/JS files that can be integrated seamlessly with the Django backend.
Ensure responsiveness across devices (desktop, tablet, mobile).
Collaborate closely with the backend development team to ensure smooth integration and maintain UI consistency.
Pay strong attention to detail, down to small spacing, font choices, alignment, and interaction effects.
Project Scope: Approx. 10–15 static and dynamic pages.
Pages already exist as functional placeholders with dummy HTML in the Django project.
Designer is expected to replace dummy HTML with final, styled HTML/CSS/JS templates.
Requirements: Proven experience in designing modern, clean websites.
Strong command of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
Ability to use Figma (or equivalent design tools) for UI mockups.
Experience working with backend teams, preferably with Django projects.
Knowledge of accessibility, browser compatibility, and optimization best practices.
Ability to commit full-time or as needed to deliver the project within the 10 to 15-day timeframe.
Deliverables: Figma (or equivalent) design files.
Complete set of HTML/CSS/JS files for all pages.
Support for integration with Django templates until final acceptance by the backend team.
