We seek a skilled instructional designer to develop interactive online training modules for our client, a leading software company. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years experience designing e-learning experiences using Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate.
You will work closely with our product managers to understand the learning objectives for each module and target audience needs. It is expected that you can translate complex technical information into logical, easy to understand lessons. Creativity and the ability to engage diverse learners through multimedia such as modules, simulations and micro-learning activities is important.
Your role will involve instructional design, storyboarding, media development and testing the user experience. Modules should be accessible on desktop and mobile with responsive design. Project management expertise is preferred to track progress and ensure deadlines are met. Experience designing for 508 compliance standards is an asset.
The initial contract is for three months working remotely with our virtual team. Modules will cover beginner to advanced topics on the company's new software release. You will receive style guides,assets and subject matter expertise from our SMEs.We need someone who is organized, detail oriented and able to work independently to high standards. Proficiency in English is required for documentation and client facing elements.
