About the Business: CNSLT is a newly established logistics consultancy based in the UK, founded by an experienced logistics leader. Our mission is to partner with businesses (particularly SMEs, e-commerce/retail, and those with warehouse operations) to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and drive sustainable growth through bespoke supply chain and logistics solutions. We need a professional online presence to establish credibility and connect with potential clients.
Project Goal: To develop Phase 1 of the CNSLT company website on the WordPress platform. The site needs to be professional, reflect our brand identity, load efficiently, and provide a clear overview of who we are and what we do.
Scope of Work / Deliverables:
Theme Setup: Recommend and set up a suitable professional WordPress theme that aligns with our provided brand guidelines (logo, colour palette will be supplied) and allows for easy content updates by us later.
Page Building (3 Core Pages): - Home/Landing Page (Structure to be agreed) - About Us page - Services page (displaying initial core service areas)
Content Integration: Integrate text content for all pages (will be provided by us). Integrate logo and any other provided brand assets/images.
Contact Form: Implement a functional contact form on the landing page that reliably sends inquiries to our specified business email address.
Responsiveness: Ensure the website is fully responsive and displays correctly on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
Basic Functionality: Ensure all internal links work, navigation is clear, and basic usability is tested.
(Optional but valued): Basic on-page SEO setup for the pages created (e.g., implementing meta titles/descriptions if provided). Please state if you include this.
Key Requirements & Constraints:
Must be built using WordPress (we have hosting and domain already).
All written text content will be provided by us.
Logo and brand colour guidelines will be provided.
We are looking for a clean, professional, and credible design appropriate for a B2B consultancy.
Freelancer should provide clear communication throughout the project.
Ideal Freelancer Skills:
Proven experience in developing professional WordPress websites for businesses/consultancies (portfolio required).
Expertise in WordPress theme customization and page builders (if applicable).
Strong understanding of responsive design principles.
Good communication skills and ability to work from a brief.
Attention to detail for functionality testing (forms, links).
