We are looking for a skilled CAD technician to draw up existing plans based on provided survey information. The plans are to be created in CAD/DWG format, requiring a strong understanding of AutoCAD. The successful applicant must be able to accurately interpret hand-drawn survey notes, photographs, and other provided documentation to produce detailed and precise architectural drawings.
Key Requirements:
· Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
· Ability to produce existing floor plans, elevations, roof plans, and building sections.
· Drawings must be completed using the provided CAD template, ensuring correct use of layers and line types (e.g., existing walls on the ‘existing walls’ layer, windows on the ‘windows’ layer, etc.).
· Include key structural elements, drainage locations (e.g., soil pipes, manholes, downpipes), and any other relevant details indicated in the survey notes.
· Use the provided page-up document to format drawings on company-branded sheets, including correct sheet numbering and titles (e.g., Drawing 01 - Existing Plans, Drawing 02 - Existing Elevations).
· Follow company drafting practices, such as including ‘structure below’ layers to indicate wall alignments between floors.
· All work must be precise, well-organised, and delivered in a timely manner.
· Once assigned the job, you will receive a Google Photos link with additional images of the property, including interior and exterior views, to assist in creating accurate drawings.
