I seek a designer to craft and refine covers for my forthcoming publication titled "Common Sense Things."
Currently, two initial concepts exist in Canva but require alignment improvements and refinement. As the envisioned designer, your responsibilities include:
1) Adjusting the existing designs within Canva to properly align cover elements / images and produce polished and enhanced, cohesive designs (see attachments).
2) Developing two new concepts that embody the light-hearted tone of a book offering practical lifestyle advice. Staying within Canva's capabilities, innovative ideas are encouraged to entice readers.
Integral to success is open communication. A preliminary Zoom meeting allows discussing my vision so you fully comprehend goals. Ongoing feedback and iterations will yield optimized final products, with your guidance pivotal to achieving excellence.
Key specifications for the book: - Colour paperback - Size: Circa 4.3 x 7 inches - 127 interior pages - Glue binding - Book contains images.
Achieving crisp, imaginative covers matched to content demands deft design skills and dedication to collaboration. While experience with book layout proves valuable, a problem-solving attitude and eagerness to understand editorial needs remain most important.
