Video Editor Needed for Urgent Healthcare Advocacy Project 11 videos
About the Project:
I am seeking a meticulous and experienced video editor to help amplify crucial healthcare advocacy messages. This project involves editing 11 existing video recordings (averaging 7 minutes each) detailing personal experiences with healthcare failings in the UK. The primary goals are to raise urgent awareness, advocate for necessary medical intervention for myself, and prevent similar harm to others. The videos are simple in nature, primarily featuring me speaking directly to the camera, and some contain sensitive content. The visual style should remain straightforward and impactful, focusing on the message.
Responsibilities:
Professionally edit 11 pre-recorded video files. Create clear and concise title pages and call-to-action pages as instructed. Generate accurate, word-for-word captions and subtitles for all videos. Create and insert a name box as specified. Integrate key phrases as text overlays at designated points in the videos. Precisely insert provided photos and pictures into the video timeline using smooth zooming and panning effects to enhance the narrative. Ensure all edits maintain the simplicity and raw authenticity of the original recordings. Export each edited video in two formats: Vertical (9:16): MP4, 1080p, suitable for TikTok and X (formerly Twitter). Horizontal (16:9): MP4, 1080p, suitable for YouTube. Ensure the final video files are technically sound and ready for direct upload to the specified platforms. Maintain clear and timely communication throughout the project. Requirements:
Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio demonstrating precise and effective editing skills, including captioning and the use of visual elements like photos with zooming/panning. Proficiency in at least one of the following professional video editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Please specify your preferred software in your application. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy, particularly with captions and visual insertions. Strong understanding of video formats and export settings for various social media platforms (X, TikTok, YouTube). Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet the project deadline.
