Expected duration: 3 - 4 weeks Description: We’re looking for a professional WordPress developer to enhance and structure an existing WordPress website for a financial services company based in Ireland.
This is not a full rebuild — the site is live and functional. The goal is to improve layout, polish the styling, apply SEO best practices, and implement content as it’s developed collaboratively.
You'll work directly with the business owner to ensure the website evolves into a professional, scalable, and enterprise-level digital presence.
Responsibilities: Enhance layout and structure using WordPress Block Editor (Gutenberg only) Collaborate to implement new content as it's finalized Ensure responsive design across devices Suggest design and layout improvements where needed Apply SEO meta tags and structure (tags will be provided) Add royalty-free stock images aligned with the brand (Pexels/Unsplash) Integrate Google Analytics 4 (script provided) Set up a contact form (WPForms or similar) Install a GDPR cookie notice plugin Ensure polished styling and clean user experience
Project Info: Website is active, content is still in progress Collaboration will happen in phases — your input is welcome Responsive layout and consistent branding are critical We value thoughtful design and structured execution
Requirements: Solid experience with WordPress Block Editor (Gutenberg) Strong eye for layout, hierarchy, and responsive styling Comfortable working collaboratively with evolving content Good communicator who can suggest improvements proactively Portfolio of past WordPress sites (no Elementor builds preferred)
Nice to Have (Bonus Points): Light image editing (cropping, overlays, Canva, etc.) Understanding of small service-based business branding Familiarity with Irish/UK web UX preferences (not required)
