Hi I need to have the DNS records set up correctly for a domain name and email that has been set up on godady but the website is hosted on dreamhost. They have been using the email for a considerable amount of time now and only recently decided to get a website which is where I come in.
I re-directed the name-servers (prior to realising that the client had email through godaddy) to my hosting provider (dreamhost) and that all worked fine but it obviously broke the email.
Just to clarify. I need to host the website with the separate host but keep the email functionality on godaddy…. so I need the DNS records to be updated correctly so this configuration works correctly.
