We are seeking a Contract Media Relations Expert with deep media connections and history of securing high-impact media coverage, particularly in the Energy space.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute media relations strategies for clients in the energy sector.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with UK journalists, editors, and influencers in energy, sustainability, and business media.
• Craft compelling press releases, media pitches, and thought leadership articles.
• Secure media coverage in top-tier publications, including national, trade, and digital outlets.
• Manage media inquiries when necessary.
Requirements:
• Proven track record in media relations within the UK energy sector.
• Established network of media contacts in energy, business, and sustainability journalism.
• Strong writing and storytelling skills tailored to media engagement.
• Ability to work independently and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in PR agencies a plus.
