We seek a proficient Chinese translator to translate a set of business documents from English to Simplified Chinese. The documents contain general company information, product descriptions and marketing content for an e-commerce website. Accuracy and precision are of utmost importance as these documents will be used for business operations and presentation to potential Chinese clients.
The translator should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in business translation between English and Chinese. Expert proficiency in both languages is required to convey intricate business concepts and ensure no loss of meaning during the translation process. The style of language used should be formal yet clear for business audiences. Knowledge of e-commerce and marketing terminology will be an added advantage.
A test translation of a sample document will be provided to assess language skills, domain expertise and turnaround time. The full set of documents comprising around 1500 words will need to be completed within a period of 5 business days from project commencement. Translations will be checked for consistency, style and accuracy by a Chinese native before final approval.
