I am looking for an experienced API developer with strong Node.js expertise to assist in fixing existing API issues within our mobile app. The app has many of the features you would expect on a dating app such as messaging, facilitating payments and location tracking etc. The app is very close to completion, but our front-end developer, has encountered problems related to the APIs previously built by another developer.
The ideal candidate should be able to:
Analyze, debug, and fix API issues efficiently. Understand and work with existing Node.js API code. Communicate effectively with the front-end developer to pinpoint the exact issues and implement fixes. Ensure API integration with the front end so the app functions as intended. Scope of Work: Have a brief discussion with front end dev to understand the API issues. Review and debug the existing API code written in Node.js. Implement necessary fixes to ensure smooth integration between the back-end and front-end. Provide minimal post-implementation support to ensure the fixes work correctly. Requirements: ✅ Experience in API development & debugging ✅ Experience with Node.js (a must) ✅ Experience working with mobile app back-end services ✅ Ability to understand and modify existing code ✅ Quick turnaround—this project is close to completion
