We are seeking a talented graphic designer to help establish the visual identity and branding assets for our new breakfast takeaway start up. Our goal is to launch within the next two months and we require brand guidelines, a logo, business cards, menu designs and additional promotional materials to match our concept.
The brand should convey a sense of fresh, locally-sourced ingredients and a relaxed yet energizing atmosphere. As a takeaway focused establishment, an emphasis on easy-to-read, appetizing menu design is crucial. The morning meal demographic tends to be time-poor so emphasis on simplicity and clarity of information presentation is important. While the concept will be grab-and-go focused, we want the branding to evoke a feeling of quality, homemade fare in a laidback setting.
Some initial market research indicates colors like sunny yellow, mint green and neutral tones work well in this space. Typography should feel friendly yet crisp and tailored to quick scanning. Materials need to be printable on common office/takeaway suppliers and durable for outdoor use if displayed. The deliverables will form the foundation of our visual presence as we establish ourselves in the local area. Creativity and ability to distill our goals into a cohesive branded imagery suite is key.
