We're trying to track down the ownership of a private road. A SIMS search with the land registry has provided us with three titles, all of which show that the road was owned by two brothers who have since died (we have the date for one but are struggling to find the second). The titles are from 1924.
I'm looking for someone who has experience to track down the current ownership of the road, which I expect will have been transferred through the wills of the respective gentlemen. This is important as works need doing on the road and we need to urgently know who owns it and have the evidence to back this up.
Please ask any questions you may have about this as I understand it's quite a specialist area.
