A Nextcloud installation requires optimization for efficient file synchronization across devices. The client seeks an experienced Nextcloud administrator to audit and refine the existing setup to ensure seamless synchronization of files between the server and desktop clients. The current instance experiences intermittent issues where server files do not sync down and desktop files do not sync up reliably. The selected freelancer will be required to inspect the whole Nextcloud infrastructure in detail, address any technical flaws hampering synchronization, test connectivity and transfer speeds. They should optimize relevant server settings, php configurations, web/database tuning, file system permissions and debug logs to achieve stable, failure-proof file sharing across all synced folders and connected clients. The goal is a fully functional synchronized file hosting solution via Nextcloud with zero data loss or files lingering out of sync. The client expects exhaustive documentation of optimizations made and a report on the health of the refined installation.
