Seeking assistance with data migration issues in Xero accounting software. Our company transitioned from Sage to Xero approximately three years ago, however it appears that some critical financial information was not properly imported into the new system. As a result, our Xero installation is not configured optimally for generating precise financial reports and statements.
The proposed project entails reviewing our original Sage records and identifying data points that were erroneously omitted or incorrectly entered during the migration process. It will then be necessary to input any starting balances, account adjustments and other accounting entries directly into Xero using the software's native functions. The overall aim is to rectify outstanding data discrepancies so that our Xero installation accurately portrays our complete financial history and transactions from the initial conversion.
Daily bank reconciliation is performed internally, so the focus of this work will be on resolving issues originating from the migration rather than transactions occurring after the fact. Strong proficiency with Xero's functionality and migration tools is essential to efficiently diagnose problems and perform the needed modifications and adjustments. The deliverable is a fully optimized Xero system containing our full financial profile and positioned to produce precise reports moving forward.
