I need help from a website developer who has a flare for aesthetics/design/branding so that they can select excellent colours, fonts, & layouts for my existing website.
I have a site that works - https://shaolinqigonghampshire.uk - but I want to revamp/update the theme, fonts, colours and include some additional features to bring it up to date.
What I am looking for specifically is:
- Help me decide on a good looking colour scheme for my existing Enfold Wordpress theme to be consistent throughout, and configure/implement on Wordpress. [Note: If you prefer to recommend an alternative theme then I will need to know how much of the fee is allocated to this. I will also need to have a lifetime license access to the theme after implementation.]
- Help me select good looking fonts that will work well with the above theme and be consistent with my website and its content throughout, and implement on Wordpress
- Advise me on how I should break up longer pages with colour, images, quotes etc. and implement these changes for my existing content (which I am updating currently)
- Update some of the images (supplied) and ensure they are not distorted and they load quickly
- Install a good working, free and flexible testimonial plugin with different layout options that looks good on a website, can use text initially or include an image in the future when available, optionally pulling reviews from google or other platforms directly
- Help me select a decent format for blog posts and implement this so I can maintain my own blogs in future
- Implement a non-intrusive or minimally intrusive "sign up to my mailing list" popup on the website
- Tidy up as required by deactivating plugins that aren't necessary, deleting or deactivating to draft any pages surplus to requirement, or any other tweaks to make the website better (to be discussed with me before actioning)
- Ensure the site remains secure post-changes
NOTE: Website should be responsive on desktop and mobile
I will probably need to exchange ideas with the designer on a video call (I am in UK time zone) or via PPH/email prior to implementation/changes.
I have indicated the budget at £200 GBP but given there are complete website offers on PPH for less than that, I would expect these amendments to be much less than that as I see them as tweaks for a professional web developer.
