We are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Italian Linguistic Navigator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for translating a variety of documents and materials from English to Italian and vice versa. Your expertise in the Italian language and culture will ensure that translations are not only accurate but also resonate with the target audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate written content, including articles, marketing materials, and legal documents, while maintaining the original meaning and context. - Conduct thorough research to ensure the accurate use of terminology and idioms specific to Italian culture. - Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand specific translation needs and deadlines. - Proofread and edit translations to ensure high quality and consistency. - Stay updated on language trends and cultural nuances to provide relevant and engaging translations.
Qualifications:
- Native or near-native proficiency in Italian and English. - Proven experience in translation, preferably in various fields such as marketing, legal, or technical. - Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Familiarity with translation software and tools is a plus.
