I seek a creative professional to design an elegant typographic logo for my new stationery business. The logo should incorporate the business name "Scribe" in an artistic, sophisticated yet clean sans serif or slab serif typeface that conveys our brand's vision of timeless quality. We aim to establish ourselves as a high-end supplier of correspondence items and want our visual identity to reflect prestige, tradition and attention to detail.
The ideal design will feature the word "Scribe" styled through subtle variations in letter spacing, sizing, weight or other typographic techniques to add visual interest while maintaining readability and balance. Color is not required but a monochrome logo in shades of grey or black would be preferable for reproduction across various mediums. Stationery, business cards and packaging are foremost, so the logo must reproduce well at small sizes without loss of clarity or impact.
Applicants should have a demonstrated portfolio showing strong typographic design skills with proven ability to thoughtfully craft letters, words or short phrases into refined, memorable logos. Knowledge of current trends in branding and stationery is favorable. The selected freelancer will own full rights to the completed logo and provide a native .AI or .EPS file as well as color and b/w PNG versions for web and print use. Budget is flexible for the right concept.
