I am seeking a skilled and experienced patent writer to assist in drafting a patent application for a medical device. The patent must comply with UK Intellectual Property Office (IPO) requirements and be ready for submission.
Responsibilities: • Draft a clear and comprehensive patent application, including claims, descriptions, and supporting information. • Collaborate with me to understand the invention, its unique features, and its technical details. • Ensure the application meets all formal and legal requirements of the UK IPO and is written in precise legal and technical language.
Requirements: • Proven experience in writing patents, particularly for mechanical or medical devices. • Familiarity with UK IPO standards and procedures. • Ability to write clear, concise, and enforceable claims. • Knowledge of prior art searching (optional but preferred). • Excellent communication skills to work closely with the inventor.
